Butouken Korean L6 Swords

All Butouken blades are made by a single responsible master smith in South Korea. The sword is then mounted by a team of craftsmen who make the parts individually crafted for each sword to ensure proper fit. We create limited number of swords each month to maintain strict quality standard. Using the latest scientific measuring tools and temperature control devices, we eliminated the guesswork to minimal. We regularly test our products to maintain the high quality standard. As with all of the fine katana that we offer each Katana from the Butouken line comes with a large wood boxed cleaning kit.  NOTE: Please do not be confused as these are not from Oni Forge but actually the other way around.  Oni Forge is supplied by Butouken master blade smith Yong Soo Park.

Changpogeom

The Changpo-geom by Mr. Yong Soo Park. Mr. Park was an invited smith to 'Masters of Fire: International Contemporary Bladesmith Exhibition' held at Macau Museum of Art in 2005.  These magnificent blades are an exclusive offering and are made to order..

Changpo-geom, a Korean straight double edged sword, is a reproduction of a traditional changpo-geom sword that was used by Royal Secret Service during Chosun dynasty. Changpo is a type of iris and the name of the sword came from the fact that the blade resembles an iris leaf. It is normally disguised as a walking stick and used only in emergency. The blade of the new changpo-geom made by Mr. Park was slightly broadened that it can be used as cutting weapon as well as thrusting weapon.

The changpo-geom will be offered as seen in the picture. However, if a customer wishes, the handle can be wrapped with non-slippery leather for better grip.

Changpogeom  $2,500.00
